More editing tools for Writer? You got it!
While we recently released some improved editing tools to enhance your formatting experience with Writer, we didn't want to stop there. That's why we're back again with a few more tools to help you level up your formatting game.
Here's everything that's new:
1. Customize your Web View
Web View lets you view and work on documents in a continuous flow without page breaks. Web View in Writer previously adjusted your document to fit the width of your screen, but now you can also customize the width to match your preference.
2. Link documents from WorkDrive
Directly link documents from your WorkDrive and keep your recent and favorite documents already listed in the WorkDrive window—all you have to do is simply pick and link.
3. Name your formula fields
To better understand the purpose of the different formulas used during merge, you can now name your formula fields accordingly and reuse them across your document.
Edits made in one formula field will update this change for all other fields in the document. However, if you want to edit the formula for only one field, you can choose the Update this instance alone option.
